Mississippi Community College Tuition Remission Program

Delta State University offers a tuition remission to faculty and staff at all Mississippi public community colleges; full-time employees are eligible to receive a reduction of one-half tuition on both graduate and undergraduate courses. In order to qualify, the employee must meet the regular admission requirements of the institution. The scholarship is available to degree seeking and non-degree seeking students, and can be applied to the full-time, part-time, or hourly tuition rate. Please note that the one-half tuition remission DOES NOT apply to any course fees, including iMBA program fees.

In order to receive the benefit, MSCC employees must submit the Mississippi Community College Tuition Remission Form prior to the start of each semester of enrollment. If a MSCC faculty/staff member’s employment status changes, he/she may no longer be eligible for the benefit.

Forms will be accepted no earlier than July 15 for Fall, November 15 for Spring, April 15 for Summer I, and May 15 for Summer II enrollment. Remember, a separate form is required for each new term of enrollment.

Completed forms must be submitted to Delta State no later than the last day to drop a course each semester in order to be processed for that semester. Forms submitted after that date will not be considered.

Any MSCC faculty/staff interested in taking a one-off course as a non-degree seeking student must complete the Graduate School Application, available at yvto.v6pu.com/apply.  All non-degree seeking students must submit an official transcript, along with a completed Non-Degree Form, to grad-info@v6pu.com.

All academic programs, both graduate and undergraduate, are eligible under this tuition remission program. Select your path below to explore our programs.
